Three Good Things is one of the well-studied PPIs. Evidence shows that it builds our emotional well-being through gratitude. It increases happiness, life satisfaction, and sweetens our memory about the past. The more conscious of remembering life good events decreases depression and the effect lasts for up to 6 months. As quoted by William Penn, "The secret of happiness is to count your blessings while others are adding up their troubles". Noticing and analysing what goes well in our life build the skills of remembering good events and not taking them for granted. Moreover, analysing life events which go well encourages a consciousness of blessing and it promotes optimism about the future.
